13 x 30'
THE FIGHT EXCHANGE takes school exchange programs to a whole new hard-hitting level! As part of our cross continent curriculum, we're swapping students between fight schools in Canada and Brazil to compare and contrast the culture, customs, and mixed martial arts communities of these two great nations! Follow along with our varied collection of talented young fighters from worlds apart as they live and train in a foreign country and attempt to immerse themselves in the culture and traditions of their host nation. Watch as our transplanted group of up and coming fighters grapple with culture shock and struggle with language barriers, all the while preparing to compete in a major mixed martial arts fight, against a formidable opponent, so far away home on foreign soil!
Canada and Brazil are worlds apart, however there is one striking similarity between these two great nations: a love, passion and appreciation for the hard-hitting sport of Mixed Martial Arts. As the sport of MMA continues to break down barriers as it transitions from infancy to adolescence, the once dominant Brazilians now face stiff competition from all parts of the globe, including Canada. Although both of these nations produce great fighters - the path to greatness is often traveled by very different means. Unfortunately though, for the most part, fans only get to see the culmination of the athlete's hard work. What we don't see are the months of diverse and gruelling training, including grappling workouts, sparring sessions, and intense weight-cuts.
